The Presbyterian Church of Queensland is a part of the National Redress Scheme created by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Abuse, and has implemented the recommendations of that commission.
Anybody working with children in our church community is a current holder of a Queensland Government ‘Blue Card,’ and has been trained in the Presbyterian Church of Queensland’s PresSafe program.
We believe that children are part of our church community, respect their dignity, and encourage participation in church activities. We love the noise and chaos kids bring into our community, whether they stay in the service with their caregivers, or join other kids in Kids Church.
