Each Sunday, at the midpoint of our service, kids head downstairs for kids church, where a team of leaders provide age appropriate activities for three age groups:

• Creche (pre-primary)
• Lower Primary (Grades 1-3)
• Upper Primary (Grades 4-6)

Jesus loves kids — he tells us so — and so do we. We recognise that kids have different needs and abilities, and we all learn in different ways, so our kids church material is flexible and adapted to the needs of individuals and the group. We want kids in our community growing up safe and secure and knowing how great Jesus is, and that the Bible tells one big story that is fulfilled by him.

Kids who aren’t comfortable heading downstairs are very welcome to stay upstairs with the big people — or bring their own big people down to Kids Church until they’re comfortable.

We invite parents to sign their kids in (and provide some contact details in case you are needed during the service), and to collect kids from the leaders as the formal part of our time together wraps up.

Our leaders all have Queensland Government working with children checks (Blue Cards), and have completed PresSafe training. You can read more about our approach to child safety here.
